Victoria Doramus Dedicates Her Life To Helping Other Recovering Addicts

Victoria Doramus is a businesswoman whose career has involved spotting market trends and writing reports about them. She has worked for a number of companies in this capacity such as Stila Cosmetics, Trendera, Creative Arts Agency, and Mindshare. At one time she had been Producer and Film Director Peter Borg’s personal assistant as well.

However, while Victoria Doramus has had quite a bit of professional success, it was overshadowed by her addiction to drugs and alcohol. It was once she had hit rock bottom that she sought out counseling. After several months of hard work, she was able to emerge from her struggles and attain a life of sobriety. She is now a recovery expert who shares her experiences with others that are struggling with their own addictions. Victoria Doramus says that it is not the thing people are addicted to that are the real problem but rather how the addicted person handles it.

The first job that she had out of college was at Mindshare. She was an assistant media planner which involved helping clients of this company create branded content. Victoria Doramus parlayed this experience into getting a job as a creative consultant at Stil Cosmetics. She worked extensively with this company’s art director in order to advertising campaign projects.

For three years Victoria Doramus worked at Creative Arts Agency. She was responsible for scheduling the chief executive officer’s daily personal and professional schedule. She also attended seasonal trade shows where she networked with other people in the media industry and generated positive press coverage for her company.

In addition to helping other people recover from their addictions, Victoria Doramus now spends her time volunteering for four nonprofits. Not long after exiting rehab she started to volunteer for the Amy Winehouse Foundation. This organization educates young people about addiction and what to do if they need help. This organization was established by this famous singer’s family and friends after she passed away in 2011.

As for her future plans, Victoria Doramus is looking to establish a halfway house in New York for those who have completed an addiction therapy program.
